As spoken about in my previous post on advertisements, this post will be about my concept and then later I will post the rough draft of the advert and then finally the advert itself.
"Spirit of albion". The advert will be separate from the music video, having its own running narrative.
It will be somewhat commercial but only in the appropriate sense, as the song itself lends itself to be a little more serious.
My initial concept is to have a scene filmed from inside the van, having clear shots of the album cover I have created. Then when the CD has been put on the video becomes a prelude to what is in the video, which will be the point where clips of the music video I've created will start to appear.
Though it will have its own narrative seperate from the music video, it will contain a few short clips taken from the music video. This however will be in between the adverts narrative, similar to how certain product have a small dramatic narrative, interrupted by a clear advertisement of the product being advertised.
This will be obvious by a matching narriator listing a few key features of the music video and would it would be perfect for anyone to listen to, as well as typical conventions like copyright jargon" and label endorsements at the end such as where to buy the product from.
